A typical day on safari starts with an early wake up call for the early morning game drive to watch the sun rise and the bush come alive. Then its back to camp for late breakfast. Its best to relax in camp during the heat of the day before tea and the afternoon and evening game drive. On this game drive it is thrilling to watch the animals come down to drink at rivers or waterholes after a long hot day. The sun then sets and the nocturnal animals wake up. Return to the lodge for dinner under the stars around the camp fire.
