Sunset on Safari
I am so thrilled – I am up in the highveld again and about to head off on Safari. It has been a while since I have been and it always evokes a sense of excitement. No safari is ever the same, you never know what you are going to come across in the wild bushveld!
I am privileged to be taking my Grandmother with me on this safari. She is 97 years old, can you believe it! Amazing, amazing for her age. She has stated though, that I am to go on safari in the morning and she will join me for the evening game drive – it is far to chilly for her on a winter’s morning to be out on a game drive! I can’t argue – she is 97!
I always love the sunset on Safari. Africa produces the most amazing spectacle. I am so looking forward to sitting down with my sundowner drink and watching the awesome colors and wildlife, including the Big 5, unfold in front of me!
